Porto soothes the soul. The second city to Lisbon, it’s completely different in style and vibe. The rich history of the city is woven into everything you come across, from the food, the wine, the docks and commerce and even its people.
It’s the kind of city where people come for a weekend and stay a lifetime. Edgy yet opulent, the city has art on every corner, from galleries and museums to street art to edgy modern art and graffiti installations, each telling the story of a different time and slice of Porto living.
Within Porto you can walk everywhere, but there are also a plethora of other options from bike and electric scooter rental to Uber and Bolt, as well as municipal bus and train services.
Porto is approximately 3 hours by train from Lisbon Apolonia Station, or 2.5 hours by road to Lisbon. You can reach Porto airport within 15-20 minutes by car / taxi.
